Activities
The Casa del Sol community host a number of activities for it's members. Some of these activities are:
card games, weekly bingo, qroup quilting, group movies, dances, holiday parties, computer classes, pot luck dinners, ice cream socials, lady's club, just to name a few. Homeowners watch the calendar for the date and times of these activities. Events open to the public will be announced on the home page.
Health and Wellness
Come swim and enjoy the company of others. At the same time enjoy water arobics for exercise. Water arobics is offered at the pool 3 times per week, weather permitting. Watch the calendar and the bulletin board for times.
Swimming
Casa del Sol offers a year round heated swimming pool. Volunteers sign up weekly to open the pool daily, weather permitting. In order to keep the pool at a comfortable temperture,the pool is opened if the air temp. is 70 degrees or above. The pool is maintained professionally to insure a clean and safe enviorment.
Shuffleboard
Casa del Sol homeowners enjoy playing shuffleboard.The courts are active Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Come and enjoy a game with fellow homeowners and their invited guest. Beginners are always welcome.
Casa del Sol salutes the founders of the Casa jams
Members of the Casa del Sol Jam committee recognized Bob and Shirley Griffis at Saturdays Jam. Bob and Shirley are the original founders and organizers of the Casa del Sol Jams. The effort involved with starting the Jams at Casa was a huge undertaking. Besause of this effort Casa del Sol and guest still enjoy good music, dancing and friendship. After many years of winter living in Florida Bob and Shirley are leaving Florida and returning to their northern home. The Casa del Sol family would like to thank them for their efforts and wish them the best in their future. They will be missed.
Jam Nights at Casa del SOl 2015-2016
Another year of Music Jams sessions comes to Casa del Sol.
Come socialize, eat, drink and enjoy some really great music.
The Jam sessions are held every other Wednesday beginning at 5:30 PM. Jams are open to the public. There is a $1.00 donation at the door.
The first session is Wednesday November 11th 2015 and every other Wednesday there after. Watch the calendar for the updates.
Many thanks to Pete, Rosemarie and their committee for putting together some great music and great refreshments at the event. And of course, thanks to the many great musicians who make the Jams a great success.
