George & Viola Celebrate 70 years together
George and Viola Pisariuk celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary at their Daughter and son-n-laws house Sunday, July 25th in Attica Michigan. Close Family and Friends, about 70 people were in attendance. Their wedding cake was re-created by A cousin with identical cake topper from 1951. They were married on July 28th, 1951 at Viola’s parents house, John & Hazel Vincent. They have 3 Daughters, 4 grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren
February 2020 Dance
109 residents and guests didn’t let the cool evening hold them back. The dance floor heated up fast as the Rock’in Ron band kept everyone dancing, singing and clapping to the beat! A huge thank you to Bob and Barb Clontz for searching out new entertainment; you really found a keeper. The dance committee had to add more tables as the crowd exceeded our expectations. There were 20 tickets left before the 50/50 draw; the dance committee pitched in $1each to purchase them and won with $53 going to each of the 5 members. What are the odds of that! The dance committee consists of Bob and Barb Clontz, Bob and Sally Peterson, Jim and Brenda Goard, Gary and Cindy Steinberg and Jin and Connie Fogal. We’ll be looking for new members next season. Thank you for all the door prize donations. These community events help defray operation costs to the association plus you get to know your neighbors. Thank you all for making this a very fun evening!
January 2020 Dance
Less than 3 weeks after the New Year’s Eve celebration close to 100 Casa residents and their guests were ready to dance the night away. The live performance by ‘The Mustangs’ kept everyone entertained from 7-10p in the club house. It was a great night to socialize and to get your body moving to the music. What an amazing turn out! Thank you to all for supporting this fund raising event. The 50/50 paid out over $200 to Jerry V. Thank you to all who donated door prizes and helped organize, setup and put the hall back together; plus clean the tables after the dance. Many hands make easy work. The event was chaired by Bob and Barb C assisted by Jim and Brenda G, Jerry and Di B, Jim and Connie F and Gary and Cindy S.
The next dance is February 22nd. Come out to socialize and get your groove on to music by Rock’in Ron from 7-10p.
2019-20 New Year's Eve
Hello 2020 good bye 2019! The New Year was welcomed by 130 or so Casa del Sol residents and their guests in grand fashion. The club house was awesomely decorated for the affair by Keith and Marilyn H, Jerry and Di B and Ron and Ethel G. There were party favors for all including a photo area set up with enhancements of a frame, hats, glasses and beads. The 50/50 hit a new record - $760; half won by Don and Sigrid. Congratulations! Thank you to Bob and Barb C for searching the area for the perfect DJ and being the chairpersons for this amazing event. DJ Gears 1 (Gary), had the dance floor full all evening and into the New Year. The decoration committee even set up our own ball drop at midnight! Thank you to everyone who donated door prizes and helped in any way to make this a perfect night!
