On March 5th 2016 Casa del Sol hosted it's 4 th and last dance of the season. Lots of door prizes were given out. Everybody had a great time. Many thanks to Bob and his committee for a great job planning the dances this year. Well done. We are all looking forward to another season of great dances next year.
Casa del Sol takes a train ride.
Members thake a 2 hour train ride from Lakeland to Tampa and back tthen enjoy a nice lunch. Due to the large crowd the group was split into 2 groups. One group rode the train on Tuesday. The second on Friday. A good time was had by all.
Men's Day 2016
Lady's club host a men's appreciation day to thank the men in the Casa community for all their hard work keeping the building and grounds up to the Casa community standard of living.
Meet your neighbor Mixer
On February 19, 2016 Casa del Sol hosted its Second meet your neighbor mixer event. From 4:00 to 6:00 pm homeowners met at the clubhouse for snacks and conversation. A good time was had by all. Check out the pictures on the right. This event was so successful plans are being made to host this monthly. The next meet your neighbor event will be in March.

Casa del Sol hosted another great event of dancing and socializing with friends and neighbors. Thanks to Bob and his committee for another great night. Casa wil host 1 more dance social in March before the winter season ends.

Casa del Sol host the second of 4 dances scheduled for the season. The dance featured Dino. The dance was attended by about 120 guest. A good time was had by all. Congradulation to the winner of the 50/50 drawing. Checks out the dance pictures on the right.

Ricky has a 60th birthday party at the Clubhouse. 62 friends and family attended for Pizza, Ice cream, rootbeer floots, cake and a good time.

Casa del Sol celebrates Thanksgiving with a Thanksgiving turkey dinner
On Thursday November 24th 2016 over 100 homeowners of Casa del Sol gathered at the clubhouse for a great thanksgiving feast. Dinner included turkey, veggies potato's, a host of great side dishes as well as yummy deserts. A good time and good food was had by all. Joanne takes the plunge
After 4 tries Joanne finally made the jump. On 3 different days weather would no allow her to Jump. On March 5 the weather was clear and everything was a go. She jumped. She hit the ground with her partner. Her first words "I would do it again" God job Joanne
